Hoje estréia uma seção permanente no meu site... Na coluna à direita, logo abaixo da área contendo uma chamada para o blog, temos PRINT AND PLAY! Algumas meses atrás, fiz um pequeno desenho que uma cédula de dinheiro chamada "Dollaritos". Depois de imprimir, passei a usar como marcador de páginas para alguns livros que estou lendo. Então pensei "Porque não dividir isso com mais pessoas?"

Spotlight: Homem-Máquina/Man-Machine

"Homem-Máquina", a ilustração desse mês, foi feita em cima de tema que me parece interessante: Existem trabalhos que desumanizam a pessoa? É bem possível, embora as razões para isso sejam complexas. Assim, optei por um desenho bem simples e limpo, que destacasse mais a emoção do que a razão por trás da cena.

"Man-Machine", this month featured illustration, deals with a theme that seems to be very interesting to me: Jobs (and workplaces) that dehumanize people. I think there is indeed places like that, although the reasons for such place to exist are complex ones. So I went for a clean and simple drawing, trying to express more the feeling of the scene than the reason behind it.
