Ok, as you may already noticed... I'm an illustrator!



Before becoming an illustrator, I've worked a couple of years as web designer. During this time
I had the opportunity of working in many successful projects, creating interfaces, animation and
content for the web. Sometimes a project would demand an illustration or two (or maybe a dozen!)...

It didn’t take too long before I realized that creating those illustrations were the part I enjoyed the
most...!



So I left my daily job and launched a little and experimental web site featuring my work... And then I
started to look for freelance jobs.

After few months I got a job to create the mascot of a web site and I also suggested
to the site’s owner to include little illustrations in the web page. It worked out very well and help me
to get started.



Almost at the same time I was working tireless in a series of illustrations: A concoction of silhouettes,
high contrasted figures in surreal and whimsical environments. “This turned out very nice…
Let’s see what else I can do with this style...” I thought. A lot of people really liked those illustrations
a lot and I founded a style that I really love and felt natural to me.



Today you can found my illustrations in outdoors, brochures and the pages of magazines such as Playboy (Brazilian edition), Info Corporate (a Brazilian magazine about I.T.), Aventuras Na História...
I felt the necessity to redesign my web site to better reflect my current focus on illustration...
